Graduation week at the Naval Academy is here again which brings the Blue Angels flight demonstration team into town as part of the graduation week ceremonies. This year they flew on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23-24. We had great weather, temps in the low 70's with a generally clear sky with only a few clouds (although there was a slight mist in the air which ate up contrast).
The crowd at Jonas Green Park and the Veterans memorial across the Severn from the Academy. This is about 1/2 mile from my location.
Fat Albert, a C130 transport accompanies the Blue Angels and puts on a show of its own.
